A holiday destination just a stone's throw from a swimming lake and in a green setting! HouseThe house is located in the village of Sussac. It is hidden by the hedge at the front. The house is entered through the terrace. The living space (~24 m²) has two patio doors to the terrace, a wood burning stove in the middle to heat the room and a kitchen area. Behind the kitchen is a narrow bathroom equipped with a shower cubicle, toilet and sink. The master bedroom (~9.5 m²) is located on the garden side. The other two bedrooms (5.60 m² and 4 m²) are made in the extension (2008) on the other side of the living space. The terrace, as an extension of the living space, is south-west facing and overlooks the lake and the green surroundings. A view that never gets bored! There is a blind for those times when the sun is shining too brightly. BasementThe basement is mainly used as storage space, as the difference in height means that the garage is no longer accessible to a car. Next to the garage door, an additional bedroom has been created. It is only accessible from the garage. There is no internal staircase from the living space. The freezer, washing machine and boiler are also in the basement. The gardenThe land has a total area of 3,220 m². The fenced part represents approximately 2,600 m². The rest is part of the public road that runs along the land to the west. The garden is sloping. On the east side is a raised terrace that has seen its best days. There are several trees and shrubs in the garden: there is always a corner of shade or sun to be found. On the south side is a shed with a tiled roof. It is a great place to store firewood. The facilitiesThe lake you have a view of has a small sandy beach and, outside, a mini-golf course. You can start the day with a refreshing morning swim or seek out the freshness of the water in between. For walkers and cyclists, the area also has a lot to offer: there are many trails to discover to fully enjoy the beautiful Limousin countryside. The village of Sussac no longer has any shops. To do this, you have to go to the nearby village of Châteauneuf la Forêt, which can be reached in 10 minutes. This village has a large supermarket, bakeries, shops and restaurants. Châteauneuf la Forêt also has a swimming lake. You can also go to the small town of Eymoutiers, which is about the same distance away. Limoges city centre, with its old streets and lively shopping centre, can be reached in 45 minutes. The commercial area in the south of the city, with its large supermarket, can be reached in just over 30 minutes.
