There are places that are not told, but that are lived, poetic places that invite meditation and awaken all the senses. Once upon a time, there was a remarkable site of 20 hectares, a preserved natural setting a few kilometres from the beaches of Hossegor. The discovery begins with an alley planted with blue hydrangeas and hundred-year-old cork oaks and which gradually reveals a green immensity embellished with a pond. At the end of the path, a singular construction is revealed, displaying a rather low and horizontal silhouette, which is discreet, and totally blended into the landscape. Here lives a family of artists. Originally, it called on the visionary architect François Gassan, who designed the main house in a Landes style, and harmoniously integrated it into this lush environment. 26 years later, the owners, won over by this magical place, called on Patrick Arotcharen, another renowned architect, to enlarge the building and embed large glass cubes on either side of the initial construction. This cubic writing plays with vertical rhythms and the lightness of structures to echo the omnipresent nature. The relationship between architecture, man and nature is thus one of reciprocity and interaction. This organic architecture now covers nearly 500m2 and hosts private, reception and exhibition spaces. Inside, you enter the artist's lair, with a singular universe straight out of a fairy tale and which takes you into his imagination. This inspiring site, connected to nature and the living, is full of treasures and offers many possibilities for projects of all kinds. A unique property.
