An ecological paradise on about thirty hectares About thirty years ago, we undertook to develop and then maintain a property of about thirty hectares in Charente, at the gates of the Dordogne, 17 kms south-east of Angoulme, 20 minutes from the TGV station which is 2 hours from Paris. It is mainly made up of meadows and woods and is crossed by a stream (lEchelle) in which the waters of many clear and profuse springs mix. One of them feeds a small pond, another a washhouse. At the bottom of the valley, two hectares of good land offer a vast space for market gardening and hosts an orchard. Seven buildings built on a rocky spur were built between the sixteenth and nineteenth centuries on different levels of limestone steps. The houses are fitted out and heated (electronically controlled wood chip heating system). Their surface areas vary from 500 to 160 m2 for a total of about 1300 m2 of living space. Between 25 and 35 people can live in housing of varying sizes. Around the hamlet we have created a park where several summer scenes are nestled that have hosted many festivals and shows. The small stone cliffs make ideal picture rails for outdoor exhibitions. Various workshops, bread oven, greenhouse, cellars, large car park, garages, terraces, a wooden chalet and small cabins in nature complete this estate, which also includes two old stone quarries, respectively of 5000 and 600 m2, very cool at all times (about 13C). The whole constitutes a small eco-preserved universe, ideal for a self-sufficient project, in the center of a large network of walks and hikes.Price excluding fees: eurosCheck our rates on the Immobilier Email website.Advertisement published on by , Rsac - independent commercial agent of Immobilier Email Sas - Ei, Commercial Court of Angouleme
