A beautiful and charming house with barn, porch and large garden of 1821 m2.
This house is hidden between fields and forests in the south of Burgundy. On the edge of the Morvan nature reserve. Nice quiet place where it is wonderful to stay.
The tall trees at the end of the driveway provide shade and cooling on hot summer days. It's wonderful to sit here, with a good book or a good glass of wine. A great place to entertain friends or just enjoy the peace and quiet that this place offers. No direct view of the garden because of the hedges and shrubs that surround the property.
You enter the house through the veranda. A beautiful bright space that the current owners had installed a few years ago. It is a nice additional living space to fully enjoy the garden at the beginning and end of the season. Enough space for a seating area and dining table with chairs.
Through this veranda you enter the living room. A cozy living room with decorative fireplace. Lots of light through the windows on both sides, from where you have a nice view of the surroundings. This room features a beautiful authentic mosaic floor and a beautiful beamed ceiling. The style of the house is beautifully preserved here. The room is heated by a wood stove and a heat pump.
Next to this cozy living room there is an office with an old wood oven. This house was once a bakery and the old baking oven has been preserved. The contours are still visible, but the chimney is now closed. It could possibly be reopened. In principle, the oven can be reused. In the past, customers came here to get their bread, straight from the oven. Now the space serves as an office/guest bedroom.
On the other side of the living room we walk to the kitchen. A nice big fully equipped kitchen. In the kitchen there is a beautiful red tomette floor. There is a gas stove with an electric oven. An extractor hood. A dishwasher is available. And there is also a connection for a washing machine in the kitchen. In this room we again see a beautiful ceiling with exposed beams, where the original beams have been well preserved. At the sink is a large window with a beautiful view of the adjacent meadow.  There is enough space for a large table with chairs to receive guests. In the kitchen there is also the wooden staircase leading to the first floor. There is also a heat pump in this room.
Next to the kitchen we find the bathroom. It has been completely renewed. Beautiful dark gray tiles, interspersed with white tile walls and appliances to get a well-lit space. There is a toilet, shower and sink in the bathroom. Vmc extraction system. There is a small window in the bathroom so that daylight comes in and the room can be ventilated.
On the 1st floor there is currently a large bedroom. But there is enough space to make a 2nd bedroom. There are 2 velux windows and a large glass window/door (single glazed) for plenty of daylight. The ceiling is insulated and there is a laminate floor on the floor. Here too we find a heat pump that can also be used as air conditioning in summer.
Under the house is a beautiful large cellar of 15m2. There is electricity in this room, and also the main tap of the water supply is located in this basement. There is an electric boiler for 80 liters of hot water in the basement.
Next to the house is a beautiful barn. There is a long driveway between the hedges of the street to the large beech tree just in front of the house. A beautiful shady place to fully enjoy this quiet environment.
