In a lively village near Sabl-sur-Sarthe, a 19th century castle and its enclosed park of 3 ha. From the village, a green gate pierced in the perimeter wall opens onto a large park dotted with hundred-year-old trees. The castle can be discovered from its east faade. A driveway leads to the front door, to the north of the building. Topped by a canopy, it is preceded by a porch with a double flight of stairs. The hip slate roof, with a zinc terrace topped with a finial, is pierced with triangular dormers and bull's eyes. The facades are made of stone and rendered, with a sculpted frieze. The numerous windows, the quoins and the tall chimneys are made of stone or brick. The whole rests on a granite base. The south faade is extended by a terrace along its entire length, surrounded by its original balustrade and open onto the parklands, after a few steps. A slight projection topped by a balcony is attached to the faade. On the first floor, each bedroom is doubled by a balcony. Behind the castle, an old fruit tree has now been converted into a habitable outbuilding. A well was dug nearby. The property also has two atypical guest rooms not visible from the castle: one is a wooden house hidden in the foliage of tall trees, the second an old caravan, also made of wood. Finally, close to the entrance gate is a garage for four cars.
