In the heart of the Perche, an old mill, its outbuilding and its carefully maintained garden open to the countryside. The small country road that follows the course of the river in an open valley leads to the property slightly below, accessed by a tarmac road. Once through the high wrought-iron gate supported by two ashlar pillars, a gravelled driveway bordered by lawns leads to the old mill. 
Built in the 17th century, it is built on two levels, one of which is under the roof slopes. The walls are of rubble stone rendered with lime and the roof that surmounts the stone cornices is covered with flat tiles from the country. Jacobean stone dormers with an arched window on both sides of the roof provide light. The quoins, door and window frames are made of white ashlar. 
At right angles, there is the outbuilding all around, in a preserved environment, the park is made up of pastures delimited by hedges and the river that flows nearby spanned by a small bridge that accesses the other part of the garden.
