An 18th century building, symbolising part of the history of Rabastens, in a protected park. Here it is not so much the living area that we are going to highlight (959m2 in total and 28 rooms) but the history that can be read in every nook and cranny, whether it is the mosaic on the ground floor, the high ceilings, the mouldings and staff, the double doors, the beautiful stone stairwell.
On the ground floor, an airlock and then a large L-shaped hall leading to three lounges, a dining area and a little further back the kitchen, boiler room and laundry rooms.
The flight of steps in good condition leads on either side of a generously sized landing to 4 so-called master bedrooms (shower rooms and toilets) with for the most part beautiful solid floors. You will also see another bedroom, 1 shower room and a chapel.
On the second floor, 6 master bedrooms (shower rooms and toilet), 3 bedrooms and a shower room and a toilet.
And finally the attic.
You will also see old 'stables' on two levels 143m2 approx, an old glass roof to be restored 95m2, and finally the caretaker's house nestled at the end of the park to be restored as well, on two levels of approx 36 and 31 m2 with cellar.
A large part of the electricity has been redone in the chute in the main part. For the rest, work will have to be done, especially the roof, the boiler works but will have to be changed, the joinery no doubt and others.
