A chateau from the 15th and 18th centuries, caretaker's cottage and outbuildings with 11 hectares of land between Châtellerault and Poitiers. Past a wide gate, a drive first leads towards the caretaker's cottage and the outbuildings, followed by the chateau, registered as a Historical Monument, with its garden and grounds beyond that. Made up of two parts and built out of stone with a slate roof, the first section dates from the 15th century and is characteristic of military architecture with its square-shaped tower, fortified at the corners by buttresses topped with turrets. The second section, with a Mansard roof, was built in the 18th century at a right angle and made it possible to expand the original tower in order to thereby create the current chateau.
