In the centre of Montbard, an 18th-century townhouse, with outbuildings, a courtyard and a garden. From the street, this walled property is tucked away behind a carriage gate and a smaller pedestrian gate. Inside, there is a courtyard around which stand a barn, a second house with its own entrance from the street and the main building, which is L-shaped and has three storeys. It has a steeply sloping roof made of traditional Burgundy tiles. The front and rear façades are made of pointed exposed stone. The door and window frames are arched, as was the local tradition in the 18th century, and are made of Burgundy stone. There are three large cellars beneath the main house, behind which there is a small 530-m² garden.
