Opening the entrance gate and crossing the paved courtyard, we discover this tall stone-built house built a century ago in a small, pretty village Sw of Cluny. The ground-level rooms are a garage, workshop, woodshed plus a small living-room and a long vaulted cellar used in summer as a dining-area because it remains cool. And this because the maiùn living are is on the floor above, reached by broad steps and a  veranda. To one side of tne long central corridor a salon and a bedroom, to the other the dining room and kitchen (with steps down to the garden), plus as extras a Wc, shower room and laundry. A fine starcase leads to the floor above, which is the main bedroom (from which the view is splendid) and a dressing-room, two more bedrooms,  a bathroom and Wc. The period features include good parquet floors, patterned tiles and pretty fireplaces. The rooms are high and light. The garden has a terrace with a pergola and is well planted with mature trees and shrubs, affording shade and pleasant areas to sit and enjoy the view.
