A 20th century villa and a 570 m² tree-lined garden in Tournai in Picardy Wallonia, 90 km from Brussels and 25 km from Lille. This modernist-inspired brick and concrete house spans two and a half storeys and is topped with a black tiled gable roof. The facade is made up of contrasting materials and dominant horizontal lines, seen in the the banded windows, the painted concrete structure highlighting the levels and the slightly recessed glazed band on the top floor under the cornice. All of the major works - roofing, aluminium frames, insulation, as well as other parts - were completely overhauled in 2017 by the architect who is the current occupant.
The property has a lock-up garage for one vehicle, to the right of the main entrance, with direct access from the street. There is a 570 m² walled garden to the rear of the property.
