Erected in the thirteenth century by Ferri III, Duke of Lorraine, this estate has survived the ages, metamorphosing over the sixteenth, seventeenth and nineteenth centuries, thus testifying to the rich strata of the region's history.
The castle has a potential living area of approximately 1,400 m2. The majestic entrance is framed by pilasters and crowned by the sculpture of a bearded head, introducing the grand staircase with its finely carved cast-iron baluster banister.

The first floor of the castle, at the end of the eighteenth century/beginning of the nineteenth century, houses opulent rooms and grandiose reception rooms, where a corridor of hunting galleries stands out, a 98m² living room adorned with woodwork, moldings and cherubs representing the four seasons and decoration composed of door trumeaux with medallions inscribed with the letters L.M for Lezay Marnésia,  family having participated in the renovations undertaken on the property in 1867, as well as a second living room of 60m² with paintings and an old smoking room at the back. The rear façade of the castle reveals its medieval side.

The oak floors are laid out in patterns of squares and Versailles. The paintings, silent witnesses of the eras through which the castle has passed, are an integral part of the sale. These works enrich the soul of the castle!
