An old watermill converted into a hotel with outhouses and a swimming pool in over eight hectares of wooded grounds by a lake in France's Sologne region. You enter the property from a local lane that runs through a wood, skirts around a little garden with a pavilion and takes you into a car park. From this car park, two paths lead towards the watermill. One path takes you to a terrace beside the little garden and to the watermill's entrance door. The watermill faces south and east. The edifice is made of brick. Its elevations are mostly coated with pale rendering that leaves the building's red timber framing exposed. The structure is crowned with gable roofs of flat tiles punctuated with wall dormers. The building has a ground floor and a first floor in its roof space. There are many windows on both levels. They are fitted with shutters that are painted red. The other path takes you to the outhouses and a courtyard behind the watermill. On the north side of the outhouses, there is a swimming pool. And at the foot of the mill's south gable end, there is a raised terrace of timber decking that looks out at the lake. The property's woodland lies to the east of the lake.
