Chateau d'Armainvilliers was built in the 12th century. It became the property of the Rothschilds in 1887. In 1984, His Majesty Hassan Ii, King of Morocco, added an extension and completely renovated it.Set in an 1100-hectare estate, the chteau covers an area of 9, 000m2.The estate includes a hunting ground, 2 ponds, a forest, an organic farm, 36 outbuildings, a stud farm and numerous outbuildings.
