A historic residence, a former coaching inn of 650 m2 magnificently renovated with respect for historical and natural materials. The region is known and prized by tourists from all over the world, for its beauty, for the purity of its air (and therefore astronomical observation, we are at an altitude of 650m), for the sports activities it offers (hot air balloons, trials and trekking on the Montagne de Lure), for its historical monuments, for its markets, for the quality of its crafts and the presence of many artists. Forcalquier receives 80, 000 visitors a year, the region has been developing quality tourism for several years as evidenced by the starred establishments (5-star Couvent des Minimes - Spa l'Occitane and La Bastide Saint Georges - 4-star Spa), and many French and foreigners have acquired second homes there. Mane is also the cradle of the L'Occitane en Provence brand, whose Research & Development laboratory specialized in natural cosmetics (a team of 100 researchers and experts) as well as the factory/garden/shop-museum (very visited) are in Manosque, just 23 km away. Le Mas is easy to access (the A51 motorway is 11km away), it can be reached from Aix en Provence in 53 minutes, from Marseille airport in 70 minutes). And also: we're an hour and a half from Avignon! It is a charming and rejuvenating hotel, with 15 spacious rooms and suites (between 18 and 46 m2) and spaces dedicated to well-being, a real HEALING HOTEL that has its place in this region. The farmhouse, built in several phases (1700 - 1730 - 1830 - 1890 - 1950) was restructured from top to bottom by the current owners between 2012 and 2015, renovations carried out by skilled workers in respect of the vernacular architecture and the concern for the health of the future residents. It has an interesting development potential: of the two hectares of land, 11, 000 m2 are in a building zone, and the occupancy coefficient makes it possible to envisage extensions of the built areas, in particular the construction of a large reception room (the region is sought after for the organization of weddings), the development of spaces dedicated to care, housing for the team and various technical areas (for example to house the bikers' equipment, the area being famous for mountain biking ).
