This bourgeois house with its garage is located in a small and very quiet village. The house is located on the edge of the village centre and enjoys lovely views of the surrounding meadows and woods.1930s houseBuilt in 1931, the house is a miniature version of a ''mansion'', with its characteristic central entrance/hallway and rooms on either side of it. On the ground floor, there is, on one side, a living room with parquet floor and wood stove and, on the other, a fitted kitchen with pantry and wood stove. Behind it, the staircase and the bathroom equipped with a shower, a sink and a washing machine. From the entrance hall, there is access to the large garage with a concrete slab on part of its floor (and a roof made of fibre cement sheets containing asbestos). The house has a full basement accessed from the ground floor and there is also an external door to the garden.Upstairs there are four good-sized bedrooms, plus a fifth smaller room, currently used as a storage room, but which could easily be converted into a bathroom. Further rooms can be arranged in the spacious attic above, if desired.The house is equipped with double glazing, but lacks finishes, which you can achieve to your liking. Many of the tiles on the kitchen floor are peeled off, the wood lacks finishes with the screws still in sight, the roof needs attention, and the paints inside and out need to be done. But you can do everything yourself, at your own pace, and enjoy your stay at the same time!The ExteriorThere is a small terrace in front of the house and, in the garden, there are a few trees. As well as a covered well with a depth of about 6.5 meters. Most of the land consists of pastures mowed for hay by a local farmer. So even outdoors, you can roll up your sleeves, if you wish.The villageThere is a town hall and a post office, but to go shopping or go to a restaurant, you have to go to the villages of Eymoutiers, Chamberet or Chateauneuf la Fort.
