An elegant 19th-century house with a 1,000m² walled garden, nestled in the medieval town of Dinan. The house is a stone's throw from the picturesque heart of Dinan. It blends harmoniously with its surroundings, where tall upper-middle-class houses from the 18th and 19th centuries tower majestically. The property stands in a commanding position with a view of Dinan's chateau. A hedge and a low stone wall with metal railings give the home absolute privacy, both in its inner court on its east side and its vast garden, which is not at all overlooked, on its west side. A gate framed between two granite pillars marks the only entrance for pedestrians and vehicles. It leads into a gravelled inner court. The tall house was built in the mid-19th century in line with local architectural standards. It is made of rubble granite. It has a square plan with a semibasement, a raised ground floor, a first floor and a second floor in the roof space. Two tall chimney stacks, also made of granite, rise up from the slate roof. An open-sided timber porch surrounds the entrance door in the facade, which faces east. Ashlar granite forms the door, window and dormer surrounds. A stone garage with a spacious loft adjoins the house.
