1 hour from Bastia, in the heart of Cap Corse, an old sheepfold renovated into a family home with a sea view. Built in 1880, as evidenced by a pediment at the back, the house is an old sheepfold built of local stone, with a wooden framework, stone floors and a slate roof. Its facades, two storeys high on the ground floor and very sober, are mostly plastered in pink ochre and pierced by straight windows full of windows or French windows with large panes, some protected by metal railings and many by natural wood shutters. Its roof, gable and slightly overhanged, is topped by four masonry chimney stacks. Its renovation and extension, which aimed in particular to adapt it to the requirements of modern comfort, have transformed it into a family home with rooms - originally cramped - redesigned and enhanced, combined with pleasant outdoor spaces - balconies, covered terrace, shaded courtyard, outdoor corridor and kitchen, wooded area. The use of quality materials and the meticulousness of the renovation have made it possible to preserve the typically Corsican character of the building, without prohibiting aesthetic and functional contributions of modernity, in terms of cladding or fittings.
