12 km from Rouen, with parklands, woods and meadows of nearly 20 ha, a 1950 house and its 19th century outbuildings. After the Second World War, the castle that had been built in the centre of the property was occupied by the Americans, following the Germans. For more comfort, they knocked down load-bearing walls, which weakened the building, whose destruction was therefore necessary. A modern house with a traditional appearance with its rendered facades, its local tile roof and its Jacobean dormers, was created in the middle of the 20th century. In place of the old castle building. Large and comfortable, two levels high and bordered by a south-east facing terrace, it has been designed, in its various spaces, to accommodate a large family. In addition, the entrance to the estate is occupied by a caretaker's house. A long driveway winds through the woods and then wide grassy areas and ends in a large gravelled area in front of the house. Beyond the woods, a meadow planted with apple trees surrounds a large barn and a dovecote. Finally, at the back of the house, behind tall trees, stands a stable, its dwelling and the entrance to the vegetable garden that also includes the estate. Built between 1855 and 1865, the various outbuildings all have the same characteristics: spacious, they were built of dressed stone, flint and brick. The quality of their construction is reflected in the many details of their ornamentation.
