A chateau whose origins date back to the Middle Ages with vast outbuildings and grounds of 1 hectare in a village on the border between the Limousin and Auvergne regions. The entrance gate, framed by Volvic stone pilasters, leads from the main village street to the courtyard which is open to the park. The vast U-shaped outbuildings are situated on one side and surround a lime tree encircled by tall, pruned box. On the other side, the east-facing chateau overlooks the meadows below and the undulating countryside. A pond opposite the outbuildings is fed by a spring surrounded by groves of trees. A recent construction hidden behind laurel hedges houses a whirlpool bath. The one-hectare park combines lawns and small copses. It is home to several centuries-old specimens, including a sequoia and an Atlas cedar. The grounds feature automatic and remote-controlled lighting.
