A 19th century house and pool, set in 875 m² of land in the historic centre of a village in the Greater Angoulême area, 2 hours by Tgv from Paris. The house is in an L-shape, with the open part facing south-west and the bottom of the L facing north, and is topped with a gable roof with canal tiles. Its facades are rendered with a sand-colour on the courtyard side and exposed rubble stone on the garden side. The north side - the pool side, is built in the limestone ashlar which is typical of the region. The stones are dotted with small remnants of shell dating back some 65 million years. To the north, a covered terrace forms a cosy space next to the swimming pool. Below, past the pool there is an unobstructed view over wooded communal land. There is a square stone well at the corner of the terrace. After walking through the foot gate into the grounds, six steps immediately to the right lead up to the first floor. The large-paned windows are protected by grey chestnut shutters. To the west, a carriage gate opens onto an area where vehicles can be parked. A carport could also be built here. The garden and swimming pool complete the property.
