It is a few meters from a paved road and 15 minutes from Banyoles. The buildings are surrounded by cultivated fields and enjoy sunshine throughout the day. The Scene Access to this property is via a 150-meter gravel path in good condition that connects the estate to a very quiet paved road with little traffic. We ascend along the edge of the fields with the forest surrounding us and encounter the old farmhouse and barn, facing south with 360-degree views. A few meters from the house, there is a path that enters the forest and descends to a stream, the limit of the property. Here we are surprised to find a beautiful rock pool that holds water all year round. Banyoles is just 10 km away, Girona and the beaches of the Costa Brava are 30 minutes by car, and Barcelona is 1 hour and 20 minutes away. The Tour The farmhouse consists of two floors of about 300 m2 each. The entrance door to the farmhouse is on the west facade, with the threshing floor in front and the barn beside it. Upon entering the farmhouse on the ground floor, we find a hallway with a travertine stone vault, the typical and highly prized stone of the Banyoles area. To the left, there are stairs leading up to the living quarters on the first floor. The ground floor is composed of several animal pens, many with stone vaulted ceilings that remain in good condition. From this floor, there are various doorways that lead directly to the exterior. On the first floor, there are several rooms and bedrooms that are in a very deteriorated state. We highlight the old kitchen, which still retains the bread oven and the porched terrace with four arches facing southeast. A few meters from the house, we find the barn, about 100m2 in size. The roof has collapsed, but the walls remain in good condition. Practical Details The property has municipal water but does not have an electrical grid connection. The neighboring estates have photovoltaic installations.
