S'Arrac is a charming little village that, with its tranquility and hospitality, attracts all who visit this small town of less than 1000 inhabitants. S'Arrac retains the charm of the typical houses of the inland villages, low and traditional, with a small orchard or garden. This village also boasts examples of stately architecture, such as the various modernist houses built with the money that emigrants from S'Arrac sent to their families from France, most of which are located on the main street, Calle Frana. Also worth mentioning are the cas ses Monges building, the old school that now serves as a cultural center, and the three traditional cafes that are the meeting point for the inhabitants of the village. The most important building in s'Arrac is the church of Sant Crist , built in 1704 by Antonio Ferrandell Ver, considered the founder of the town. Inside, the Baroque altarpiece dedicated to the Holy Christ and the altarpiece of the Mare de Du de la Trapa , an image from the monastery of the same name, now disappeared, stand out. Also in s'Arrac there are some testimonies of the rural economy, such as the old estates of Son Guillem , Son Joan , Son Castell and Son Nadal , as well as the mills or water wheels that recall the agricultural past.
