This thoroughly renovated farmhouse stands on a 4.123 square meter plot. It offers astonishing views of the exquisite mountainous landscape, the village of Mojacar and of the Mediterranean. This 275 square meters cortijo has large terraces, four bedrooms, four bathrooms and a swimming pool. It was renovated by the current owners who conserved all the original features of this Andalusian cortijo that is over a hundred years old. The house has thick, load-bearing walls and beautiful ceilings with exposed wooden beams and traditional cane.<br /> The porche at the seaside leads you into a distinctive kitchen with brick and wood cabinets, marble tops with double, marble sinks and modern appliances. with a decorative fireplace with log burner. A small staircase up from the kitchen brings you into a lovely office, while a few steps down take you into the large pantry. Next to the kitchen is a small dining room with door that opens to the swimming pool and barbecue terrace.<br /> There are two bedrooms on either side of the dining room, both with en suite bathroom. Right of the dining room is a short corridor. The corridor leads you into the spacious lounge with reading area around the fireplace with log-burner and a large lounge area with feature double doors that lead to the seaside terrace. Next to the lounge, there is a spacious bedroom with ensuite bathroom.<br /> In the small corridor is a door that hides a staircase. This staircase brings you into the main bedroom with en suite bathroom and a very peculiar dressing room with three walls of niches, that used to be dove cotes and now make a fabulous shoe display.<br /> There is a large storage space with separate entrance that could be converted in a guest studio.</p> <p><strong>Exterior</strong><br /> There are large sun and covered terraces surrounding the house, as well as a roof terrace above the storage room to take in the infinite views and enjoy the stunning stellar nights. There is a Southeast-facing, covered terrace with access to the kitchen and to the lounge. The Southwestern terrace has a swimming pool with barbecue area and direct access to the dining room. There is a garage and utility room at the north-end of the farmhouse. The white village of Bedar is considered one of the most beautiful Andalusian villages. Bedar consists of village houses, three restaurants, bars, a bakery, a bank office, a pharmacy, a doctor’s practice and grocery shops, all perched on a hilltop. The village of Bedar is 15 minutes from the beaches of Vera and Mojacar.
