Now I can't be sure it was this one exactly because the Vall de Lliria development had four styles of houses and this was my favourite at the time, the four bed, two bath and toilet version on the 500m2 plot with a large terrace coming off the main bedroom with distant mountain views from the valley. (The description in the brochure was something like that). . When I was interested the pool was an optional extra, evidently the buyer here decided to put it in and at the same time decided that nature wasn't welcome in any shape or form and putting-greened the whole plot... almost... artifical grass of course, no holes. . . Equally when I was interested the price was exactly this, 295k! So no price rise in 17 years? Well not exactly. After the financial crisis prices dropped precipitively and they have now returned to 2007-8 levels. In the meantime we have had an inflation rate variously described as being between 35-50% so you would expect prices now to be higher all things considered. . . What do you get for your money here? 501m2 of plot, that 1m2 extra is important, 142m2 of house plus terraces, open above and covered below, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, toilet, kitchen and large L shaped living room with dining area. There is a park for the estate and you are just five minutes outside Lliria and 25 mins into Valencia. Marines is closer and Olocau just seven mins away by car and all three of the local places are connected by bike tracks through the lovely San Vicente Park. . . Tempting you?
