Details:- Situated in the Alt Empordà province of Girona, this eco resort nestles at the foothills of the Albera Natural Reserve adjacent to the Natural Park of the Cape of Creus and Cadaqués, serves as a starting point for various journeysbe it on foot (GR-Camino de Santiago), by bike (Pirinexus), or for cultural explorations (Dalí Museum, Sant Pere de Rodes, dolmens), as well as gastronomic and oenological pursuits.



Enveloped in a unique historical ambiance, the terrain, spanning two estates totaling 4002.28 m2, is intricately terraced, adorned with small stone walls of approximately 40 cm. The landscape boasts Mediterranean native vegetation, including pine carrasco, oak, and cork oak, with sparse shrubbery. Olive and vine cultivation, integral biomimetic elements of the project, contribute to the distinctive character of this sustainable tourist center.



Conceived as a haven for repose, rejuvenation, and environmental mindfulness, this eco resort fosters a connection between users and nature, emphasizing the cyclical harmony of its elements. The ecological equilibrium hinges on the closure of life cycles (cradle to cradle), ensuring that everything utilized returns to its source, concurrently mitigating the impacts of our industrial age. The encompassed cycles encompass materials, energy, water, air, and information.



The facility holds the designation of tourist housing with a capacity of 30/35 people upon completion, spanning a total built area of 500 m2.



The architectural design aligns with the energies of the locale (geobiology), acknowledging the significance of sunlight in winter and the exposure to the northern tramontana winds. Unparalleled views of the Canigó massif and part of the Albera are integrated, addressing the challenge of the setting sun in the summer season.



The landscape, characterized by dry stone terraces and crowned with pines, oaks, and olive trees, displays earthy hues, transitioning with the leaves' movement. Aromatic shrub plants mark pathways, each house adorned with a welcoming cypress, complemented by fruit trees acting as wind barriers and shade providers.



The bioclimatic-bioconstructive structure prioritizes adaptability to climate and vegetation, exemplifying sustainability and responsible resource consumption. The south façade and new openings capture panoramic views of Canigó, utilizing thermal inertia, Catalan vaults, generous porches, and reed-covered eaves.



Rainwater collection and graywater treatment, along with the utilization of renewable energies such as biomass chimneys, solar panels, collectors, and a 400w windmill, contribute to the project's eco-friendly initiatives.



The project aims for international acclaim with certifications like LEED Gold-Platinum and Eco8 certification, highlighting its commitment to sustainable practices.
