Yes, Gone With the Wind was the first thing that popped into our heads when we saw the magnificent entry way and staircase in this beautiful Cuenca home! Big enough for a B&B, a high-end retirement home, or even your family and guests! Centrally located on 10, 000 square feet of land on 12 de Abril, this mansion is one of those behind the wall hidden gems that Cuenca is famous for. The land alone is probably worth the asking price of $995, 000! We must talk about that winding staircase first because it is breathtaking. Twisting up to the second floor, it is flooded in light from the giant overhead atrium style skylight that bathes the entire second floor and its balconies with sunshine. As grand as it is, it was built in an open-concept design, so it still allows the first-floor areas to feel open and inviting.
