If you arrive in late spring, you may find the cactus in bloom. Or bananas and papayas ready to be picked and eaten. The covered terrace is a wonderful place to observe the sea while enjoying a meal. The residence Residencia Esperanza is an exclusive private community at the easternmost point of Las Terrenas. 3 clay tennis courts are expertly maintained less than a 5 minute walk from the house. The residence has its own beach with calm turquoise waters in a small quiet bay that is a 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive from the house. While no beach in the Dominican Republic is technically private, access is very limited, and you'll usually find yourself alone to enjoy the surrounding water and mangroves.
