Surfer's Paradise: Beachfront Rental Home on Playa Grande, Playa Grande, Guanacaste Province

This quaint, 2 bedroom beach-cottage home is located right on Playa Grande with perfect surf breaks just footsteps from your living room. The house is fully furnished, air conditioned and has 2 king bedrooms that comfortably sleeps 4 people along with a fully equipped kitchen, wifi, TV and local area telephone. Enjoy the beach, garden and ocean views from the back patio and go surfing any time you feel the urge. Palm Beach Estates is a quiet, private community in Playa Grande with a supermarket, surf school and several restaurants within in walking distance. Playa Grande Baula National Park is one of Costa Rica's most popular beaches among expads and ticos alike, as it is known as one of the absolute best surfing beaches in Central America. It's also famous as a Leatherback Turtle nesting area where the Leatherback Turtle Museum and Research Center offers night tours. Due to being located inside of a National Park, the beach is protected for the nesting of the Giant Leatherback Sea Turtles from October through April. The beach is open year around during the day, but during nesting season, you are required to be with a tour guide to be on the beach after dark. More surf shops and a many more restaurants are just north of Playa Grande going toward Tamarindo, which a water taxi or ferry can get you there in 5-10 min. This area is one Costa Rica's most popular tourist beaches with lots of entertainment, dining, activities, banking and souvenir, surf, cloth, and hardware shopping. Karlos the Caretaker: Karlos speaks a little English, but can address ALL of your concerns. Speak slowly and show him what you need. Karlos is in charge of all of the home's maintenance and upkeep. Laura the House Cleaner: Laura speaks English and Spanish, but again please speak to her slowly. Laura can also translate any concerns or requests to Karlos. Laura is scheduled to clean 1 day per week and this day will depend upon your stay dates. If you need Laura additional days, you can schedule with her yourself for $30.00 a day. Please pay her directly for any additional cleaning days. If you need your linens washed, please advise her. Conserving energy is a TOP PROIRTY in Costa Rica and especially at my home!
