Poasito Farm Poasito Farm is a farm with an area of 119 hectares (294 acres), of which approximately 50 hectares are allocated for pastures for dairy and livestock activities, and 69 hectares are cloud forest, part of a biological corridor between Poas Volcano National Park and Braulio Carrillo National Park. The farm has a total of 7 km of internal roads and trails, 3 km of which are paved, 1 km is gravel, and 3 km are for quad bikes and ATVs. The farm is located between the communities of Poasito and Vara Blanca in Alajuela, on Route 120, a fully paved national public road, with over 500 meters of road frontage. The land use designation includes agricultural, commercial, and lodging/hotel purposes, as well as agricultural parcels. This area is known for its tourism appeal and cool climate.
