Approximately 80% of the property is covered by primary and secondary lowland humid tropical forests over 40 years old. The rest of the area is covered by a teak plantation, another oil palm plantation in production, which can cover basic maintenance expenses, small areas of bamboo, and a little more than one hectare with more than 40 species of fruit trees in production, including more than a hundred mangosteen trees of different ages. By taking a walk of less than fifteen minutes, you can reach the coast of Golfo Dulce and from there, by canoe or kayak, passing through serene estuaries, you reach a very beautiful and quiet beach, as it receives very few visitors. From the property, you have access to an extensive mangrove area, which creates a beautiful green belt with a large expanse of canals where you can carry out canoeing and kayaking activities. This building has a classroom, space for an office, four bedrooms, with private bathrooms, a kitchen, and an open dining room that overlooks the garden. In front, there is a grass area for a playing field, a swimming pool, and a space with fruit trees. The property is located 1.5 km from the new highway to Puerto Jimnez with single-car access all year round on a gravel road. It has electricity from the ICE, and drinking water from the local aqueduct. Most of the trails and roads within the property are also covered with gravel. In Puerto Jimnez there is a hospital, offices of the National Bank and the Bank of Costa Rica, supermarkets, good restaurants, bus service, and several daily flights to San Jos.
