Description: This single-family house located next to an idyllic forest in the bowels of Alto de las Palmas, Vereda La Esperanza, is inspired precisely by the hope of looking back at the close contact with nature with a certain harmony and admiration for the environment in which it is located. Leaving the footprint on a green and natural lot led to the challenge of raising the removed vegetation layer to a good part of its roofs, minimizing the return by reflection of CO2 to the atmosphere and creating microclimates inside, making at the same time a landscaped roof blend in with the surrounding landscape and provide alternatives for recreational use on its green surfaces. This is how the concept of the design was developed under the premise of an environmentally friendly work and respect for the environment. Large, open spaces in open-concept social areas connected to each other open up discreetly and decidedly to the outside. Its 3 bedrooms connect with a wide corridor and the attic, as a multipurpose space that stands out as a guest lounge, makes the experience inside versatile. Providing warmth at certain times is part of the attractiveness of the house because its European-type tilt-and-turn window with hermetic closure allows the thermoacoustics to be controlled inside, with the complicity of infrared heaters and a central fireplace. Its solid structure and the implementation of the house, very friendly to the environment, provides a feeling of relaxation and seclusion, while inviting the dynamics of interacting with activities typical of the countryside. Orchard, gardens and the reserve's own forest are invaluable elements for this. Its east-west layout favours the incorporation of solar panels in the strip provided for this purpose in the design to make the house a self-sufficient place with clean and economical energy.
