The Val d'Anniviers and its 220km of ski slopes - often described as the most beautiful valley in the Valais Alps, located between the Matterhorn and Verbier - boasts the longest ski seasons as well as the best sunshine in the region.

In summer, there are 320 km of magnificent hiking trails to cover admiring the peaks of more than 4000m, mountain bike trails, high mountain races, paragliding, bungee jumping, via ferrata, swimming pools, wellness, and the many restaurants offering local gastronomy.

The slopes of the Grimentz-Zinal ski area lead directly to St-Jean. A few minutes by car or postbus is enough to reach one of the valley's resorts: Grimentz-Zinal (with 120 km of slopes culminating at 2900 metres and many freeride areas), Saint-Luc, Chandolin and Vercorin. Sierre is 20 minutes away and Sion is 30 minutes away.

Magnificent view: snow-capped peaks, alpine pastures and picturesque villages. The entrance and terrace are south-facing.

This authentic mayen to renovate is remote and located above the village of Mayoux in the Val d'Anniviers (about 40 minutes walk from Mayoux, 45 minutes from St-Jean d'En Haut).
Accessible by car from St-Jean d'en Haut (+/- 15 minutes approximately), or from Grimentz, the latter has neither water nor electricity, but a catchment pipe runs about ten meters away and a valve is provided for the water supply.
Accessible via forest roads, it is necessary to be equipped with a vehicle adapted to alpine roads, also bearing in mind that the road is not cleared of snow in winter.
The property does not have a parking space, but communal parking spaces are about fifteen meters away and you can park your car at the entrance to unload.

Note: It is possible for you to visit the exterior of the property on your own so that you can project yourself. Indoor tours are done in my company and only take place when the roads are passable.

Dieses authentische, renovierungsbedürftige Maiensäss liegt abgelegen oberhalb des Dorfes Mayoux im Val d'Anniviers (ca. 40 Minuten Fussmarsch von Mayoux, 45 Minuten von St-Jean d'En Haut). 
Dieses ist mit dem Auto von St-Jean d'en Haut (ca. 15 Minuten) oder von Grimentz aus erreichbar. Es verfügt weder über Wasser noch Strom, aber in etwa zehn Metern...
