Das in den Wald eingebettete Objekt ist ber einen schnen Weg entlang des Flusses Breggia zu erreichen, der vom Parkplatz am Rande der Kantonsstrasse aus etwa 15 Minuten dauert. Von aussen wurde das Rustico mit Steinen aus dem Muggiotal renoviert. Die Fenster und das Dach wurden 2010 und die Sanitranlagen 2016 erneuert. Die Verfliesung des Badezimmers und der Einbau der Sanitrapparaturen stehen noch aus. Flieendes Wasser ist vorhanden, Strom nicht, und es gibt eine eigene Klrgrube fr die Entwsserung. Im Eingangsbereich befindet sich eine mit Feinsteinzeug ausgekleidete Wohnkche mit doppeltem Ausgang auf die vorgelagerte, ca. 25 m2 large Terrasse. Im Obergeschoss sind ein mit Laminat ausgelegtes Schlafzimmer und ein Bad/Dusche eingebaut. Unter der Terrasse befindet sich ein Keller von ca. 15 m2. Die Rasenflche vor dem Haus betrgt ca. 1 500 m2, whrend der Wald approx. 18 500 m2 gross ist. Wenige Meter vom Grundstck entfernt fliesst der Fluss Breggia, und es gibt auch eine Quelle. Dank seiner Besonderheiten ist Muggio, wie andere ehemalige Drfer, die seit 2009 die Gemeinde Breggia bilden, im Bundesinventar der Siedlungen von nationaler Bedeutung ISOS aufgefhrt und gehrt seit 2016 zur Vereinigung der schnsten Drfer der Schweiz. Cabbio ist leicht mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die Fahrt zur Autobahn A2 bei Mendrisio dauert etwa 20 Minuten. Die Gemeinde kann auch mit dem Postauto erreicht werden. Schulen und Einkaufsmglichkeiten befinden sich in Muggio. Grosse Einkaufszentren gibt es in Mendrisio und Chiasso, aber auch im benachbarten Italien.
