The Restaurant and Bar The Smokey Mermaid Restaurant and Bar is a thatched roof palapa building with a total floor area of approx..4, 300 sq. ft. This encompasses the bar, small gift shop, managers office, reception area, and conference room. There is also a timber deck that extends some 20ft over the lagoon for outdoor dining. Spa building The building is 18 x24 ft. and is very eco-friendly with a thatched roof and open concept. Campsite- is approx. 400 sq. ft. with masonry block BBQ pit and cut tree trunks for the seating area. On-Site Sewage Facility The treatment and effluent disposal system is a simple but effective system. All the wastewater from the kitchen, restrooms, laundry room, and sewage from the hotel are pumped into the four septic tanks. The processed wastewater is then transferred to a rotoplast tanks from where the treated water is transferred to the land and used for irrigation.
