A looped walking track explores the bushland, which is rich in birdlife and native wildlife. Bruny Island is home to all 12 species of Tasmanian endemic birds and all can be observed on this unique property, protected by a Conservation Covenant. 

The access track, which is known to locals as Whalebone Way, is a reserved no-through road that only serves the very small number of properties along it.
