The loft bedroom, open plan cabin has been carefully reworked to respect the original 90s design of 'Riverside' by DJRD, which itself references the 60s design of the iconic 'Sea Ranch' in California, including its pitched shed roofs designed for the high winds, window seats and ladders. The lineage of the design cues was carefully curated by designer, Nicholas Gurney, and client who had a vision to create a year-round sanctuary.

The result is a sophisticated space that is both calming and energising, to explore and reconnect with nature – a base for adventure.
