  • • The Anglican School Googong takes students from Early Learning to year 12. The Googong Public School takes students from K-Year 6.
  • A public secondary school is planned to open for Term 1, 2027.
  • There are currently six playing fields, nine playgrounds, two dog parks and two tennis courts, six netball courts, a skate park and a pump track in use in the town, as well as over 15km of walkways, bike paths and bush trails.
  • Ultimately Googong will boast eleven playing fields, ten tennis courts, six netball courts, a regional playground, thirteen local parks, an indoor pool and sports centre, tennis facility, skate park, adventure playground, pitch and putt, and more.

Googong is a self-contained township a short 26 minutes drive from Canberra's CBD. 

It will eventually have around 6,500 homes, as well as schools, parks, shops and businesses, everything you'd expect to find in a thriving town. We are just 16km south-east of Parliament House in Canberra, and just over the ACT border in NSW. Already 7,000 people live here, and eventually 18,000 people will call Googong home.
