Sunrise Cottage affectionately known as 'Sunny' is a recently renovated traditional 1970s Australian beach house overlooking the natural environs surrounding the lagoon, into which the Narrawallee creek flows, and only a few minutes stroll along the edge of the lagoon to the sands of the Narrawallee surf beach. 

The walk along the edge of the lagoon continues out to the headland where the waters of the ocean and lagoon merge. A great place to view the sun setting over the lagoon.

Sunny is a 2 storey house to the street and 3 storeys to the north. The top level has the brand new kitchen, dining and living areas as one generous space flowing out onto the large northerly deck overlooking the lagoon and its natural environs. This huge timber terrace enjoys full north sun from dawn to sunset, an abundance of birds, and is the natural space for breakfast through to evening drinks.

Also at this level are two generous but simple airy bedrooms each with their own bathroom. One has a queen bed and the other twin beds which can in the European style, be pushed together to form a king.

Downstairs (the entry level) is another large activity space, again flowing out onto a large sun filled shaded deck. Here you can hang out in the bean bags or throw them aside and roll out the yoga mats (provided) to keep up your practice.  Here again there are two large twin bedrooms each with their own bathroom, one of which doubles as a laundry. 

There are 3 off street parking spaces, 2 undercover and one with EV charging facility. 

The house has been designed to accommodate 8 in 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. While it is obviously great for one big family, maybe with grandparents, it is also really perfect for 2 families with up to 4 kids between them. 

This offers a rare opportunity for 2 close families to share the cost of a great holiday without the usual inequalities, because all the bedrooms are pretty much the same size.

Similarly, the planning configuration offers the perfect group yoga and health retreat. The large dining table comfortably seats 8 and the well designed generous and flexible kitchen allows for group cooking.
