Balquhidder is a prime example, featuring pressed metal ceilings, stained glass entry doors, decorative timber panelling, and a grand fireplace that served as the home's central gathering point.

Remarkably, Balquhidder has preserved its original character and charm across generations. The home's preserved details, including bay windows and intricate woodwork, echo the design priorities of the era: maximizing natural light, comfort, and craftsmanship.
