When you do need supplies, the Jamieson General Store and Courthouse Hotel are only a few minutes away in the gorgeous Historic township, with the fabulous Jamieson Brewery even closer.  The booming regional town of Mansfield is less than 30 minutes drive.  There's a primary school in Jamieson and a school bus to Mansfield.  More importantly for the boating enthusiasts, there's a ramp a couple of minutes away...and the State Forest is just across the road!
