- Sustainability in action: Ginninderry's sales and information centre, The Link in is an example of our commitment to sustainability. Not all these features are visible, but they're all contributing to making this what we call a high-performance building.

- An affordable lifestyle: affordability isn't just about house and land prices. It's also about ongoing cost savings that come from smart use of resources. At Ginninderry we have made this kind of affordability and sustainability part of our planning.
- Re-imagining energy: we're providing incentives for those who use less energy and creating easy pathways to help install renewable energy and create a smarter electricity grid by: providing incentives for installing high efficiency appliances installing
- Sustainable transport options: we have been exploring ways to connect our Ginninderry residents with the broader public transport network at West Belconnen.

The Ginninderry vision Ginninderry will be an innovative, sustainable community of international significance in the Capital region. Strathnairn is the first of these suburbs in Ginninderry and features of this neighbourhood include: - a grand entry boulevard with wide verges, a segregated safe cycle-only path, shared paths for pedestrians and slower cyclists, trees and hedges, and room for future traffic growth. - impressive detached homes along the entry boulevard, with rear car access - The Link community hub focussed on this centre, with a future cafe and general store, plus proposed community, sporting, cultural and recreational facilities - a green link, activated and supported by higher density attached homes along a linear park with community garden quiet spaces and play spaces - a mix of home types catering to a variety of lifestyles and life stages - a unique blend of open spaces and parks, retaining mature trees and promoting biodiversity - links to the Murrumbidgee River corridor and riverside recreation areas.
