It is collected at the end of February until the beginning of March. 1 1/2 hectaresofGiffard Pear are under anti-hail netting. Giffard is an old french pear. Medium, light green pear. Turns pale yellow with pink blush as it ripens. Crisp, tender, juicy flesh with delicious, refreshing flavor.
